Performing groups with craftspeople as well as individual craftspeople demonstrated their skills in three cluster areas. In the pounding area a goldsmith from Bicol Province and a silversmith were joined by cotton weavers from Batangas Province who were part of the Subli ritual dance ensemble. The weavers pound their abaca (banana hemp) before weaving. In a corner of the tent preliminary repair work was done on a jeepney provided by the Filipino-American community in Seattle.
