Performing groups with craftspeople as well as individual craftspeople demonstrated their skills in three cluster areas. In the carving area three artists from Luzon presented a variety of carving traditions. Two artists demonstrated the carving of religious images while a carver from Kalinga Province in upland Luzon demonstrated utensils and local figures. A builder from Mindanao worked on an elaborate boat used in inter-island transportation.
