Filipino-American Day, June 27th

On June 27 seven Filipino-American ensembles from around the country sang and danced on the basketball performance area. These groups presented many of the dances that have been passed down among Filipino Americans while several included performances with centennial themes. After the performances the Filipino Americans joined the Filipino delegation in a traditional procession around the Festival site. The day ended with an evening of music and dance presentated by the artists from the Philippines.
