| VisitScotland, the National Archives of Scotland, the General Register Office for Scotland, and the Scottish Archive Network are cooperatively presenting a joint area with Internet access and guidance from members of their staff to help Festival visitors trace Scottish ancestry, as well as to introduce the field of genealogical research to all visitors, and generally encourage interest in Scottish history. Joanna Baird and Susan Corrigall are attending on behalf of the Scottish National Archives; Martin Tyson and Stephen Chatteryley are coming on behalf of the Scottish Register Office; and Jacqueline Hampson is representing AncestralScotland.com. | |||
